So I haven’t been writing much the past few months, much so because of the grind for my final Master’s semester/Internship/on campus work and of course grinding Leetcode problems which takes away most of my time. So just to start the habit again, I wanted to write down about my work setup as I moved to a new apartment (and I couldn’t stop myself from sharing the image). I hope it helps you in deciding a budget friendly setup for someone who is a full time student.

The setup comprises the following:

  1. Ikea Work Lamp

  2. Ikea Corner Table (which is a little customised)

  3. Screen - DELL 24” IPS LED Monitor (there are other great similar screens if this isn’t available)

  4. Mech. Keyboard - Keychron K6 Wireless - Favourite part of the setup.

  5. Mouse - Great deal for logitech mouse lovers, supports all customizations, specially for Mac users.

  6. Razer Gaming Mousepad

  7. Mac Laptop Stand

  8. USB Hub for Mac - I like that it has a lot of USB ports, I am able to have spare ports after all the connections in this setup.

  9. Logitech HD Camera

  10. Screen Backlit LED, Yes that’s the color you see in the photo.

  11. Amazon Basics Office Chair - You can do better, I wouldn’t say its the best chair but works for me :)

Here’s the best I could make it look. ( Some products are not part of the picture but I believe it should be helpful. All items are working flawlessly as of now, without any particular complaints.)
